Ingredients

- 2 cups chopped apples (peeled)
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ cups brown sugar
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13” baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix chopped apples, sugar, eggs, oil, and vanilla.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually combine the wet and dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Pour batter into the greased pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm or at room temp!
Notes
- Use tart apples like Granny Smith for extra depth.
- Add chopped walnuts or raisins for a twist.
- Don’t overmix it’ll toughen the crumb.
